Taylor Plas is an independent Americana/Soul/Folk singer/songwriter based primarily in Los Angeles.
Drawing from a deep emotional well reminiscent of torch singers from days of old, Taylor Plas is a favorite among fans of artists like Gillian Welch, Sierra Ferrell, Yebba, Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Dinah Washington. This artist stops the clocks and breaks hearts with their soulful, spitfire vocals and charming acoustic self-accompaniment. You can generally catch them crooning on both nostalgic classics and new releases, solo and with multiple bands, with styles ranging from dark, haunting acoustic singer-songwriter to jazz-informed soul-pop to swampy bluegrass-inspired roots-rock, and even queer indie psychedelic bubblegum doo-wop.
Their debut solo album Slow to Tune is available on BandCamp, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and other streaming platforms, as well as on CD format. For CDs, please inquire using the contact form at the bottom of this page.
